Ohev Sholom Green Team
The Ohev Sholom Green Team formed in 2007 with goals of incorporating energy efficiency and environmental values into the heart of our community.
In 2008, we launched a shul-wide recycling program, collecting bottles and cans from communal meals as well as mixed paper from our offices.
We are a member of the EPA's ENERGY STAR Congregations Network and a partner of The Greater Washington Interfaith Power and Light.
We have many ongoing projects and there is much work to be done!
