Yizkor Book Message

During the Yamim Noraim we remember those we have lost during the Yizkor service. Jewish custom suggests that we honor the memory of loved ones through the mitzvah of tzedakah. We hope that you will take this opportunity to donate in their memory by placing a message in the printed Yizkor book (available for pick up before or on Yom Kippur). Annual Giving members may submit a message at no charge. Deadline to submit a message is September 5th.

High Holiday Seat Reservations

This year we ask members to consider making the suggested donation of $100 per adult to cover the holidays expenses. Tickets prices are listed below for guests of members and non-members. Children 18 and under do not require separate tickets.   

We will have indoor services this year and all attendees (12 and up) must be fully vaccinated against
Covid-19. Masks are optional for everyone. 

For questions or concerns with the above tickets including financial constraints, please email alejandra@ostns.org.  We encourage attendance at High Holiday services, and financial considerations should not be a barrier preventing anyone from joining us.

Childcare Reservations 

Childcare is available for ages 2-11.
We will be providing drop-off childcare in the mornings of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, 8:30 AM - 2PM. The fee for attending is $20 per child, per day. Location will be Shepherd Park (weather permitting) and it  will consist of a mix of supervised play and High Holiday programming. Weather back-up is the social hall.

High Holiday Appeal Donation

This year the High Holiday Appeal is critical to help support the shul. Funds raised through the High Holiday appeal will be used to fund additional expenses during the holidays including security, guest clergy, sustain shul operations, allow us continue to provide resources to the community and support to an already strained budget. Your generosity allows us to continue to sustain our community. Thank you for your generosity!

Volunteer for shul security as a greeter
 

Our security depends upon community members to serve as “greeters.” Volunteers are a critical compliment to the hired armed security guards employed for most gatherings. In this new year, please consider being trained and serving in this essential role.

Lulav & Etrog Set(s) 

Please use this form to order lulav & etrog sets. Pick up will take place inside the shul as follows:
 

Thursday, 10/6: 12 PM - 8 PM
Friday, 10/7: 9 AM - 4 PM
Sunday, 10/9: 11 AM - 2 PM

For members with fobs, your Lulav sets can be retrieved during office hours and services.There will be signage with instructions.
